Biography
Ms. Rushing earned a degree in engineering from Stanford University and furthered transformational technology through her pioneering work in the energy industry. Her career as an energy technology executive spanned two decades and included VP of Marketing at eMeter corp. and CellNet Data Systems. As Director of Energy Efficiency at PG&E, she launched award winning energy efficiency and technology initiatives adopted by utilities around the world.
Business success notwithstanding, Denise recognized that humanity’s relationship with Earth’s living systems required a deeper response. After earning her Masters Degree in Culture and Spirituality, she co-founded Rockhaven Ecozoic Center, where she developed ecologically-inspired systems that she later documented in her Amazon bestselling book: Tending the Soul's Garden.
Denise has devoted decades to helping entrepreneurs, experts and innovators with business and impact strategies. Her clients have included US and international energy companies, Invensys, Trilliant and hundreds of individual heart-centered entrepreneurs.
