Leah leaves behind campus life and sets out for for rural Lake County, California where she soon discovers that Konocti's rumors and legends are true: in the depth"s of the mountain lies an ancient cavern with time-bending properties.
As Leah delves into the past, she uncovers secrets that portend an even darker future if the path is not altered. The land and its ancestral people's fates are linked, and Leah believes James Kenah holds the key. It's up to her to find him before it's too late. But Konocti seems to have a mind of her own, guiding Leah deeper into the troubling history.
For Leah, unearthing the truth about Kenah and his people will alter her own future and either help save Earth...
